What started as maintenance tracking software for lawnmower repair shops has grown into a comprehensive job management platform that now serves diverse industries including security, electrical, and plumbing services.

As a stable start-up, we're in an exciting phase of growth and evolution. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us as we continue expanding our impact on South African trade businesses.

The role

We're seeking a Product Owner to join our team and work closely with our Product Lead and development team to bring our product roadmap to life. You'll be the bridge between customer needs and technical solutions, ensuring we build features that truly serve our maintenance and service professionals.

Our software is sophisticated, and our next phase of growth will come from simplifying the user experience across the whole product. You'll play a key role in making complex functionality more intuitive and accessible for busy trade professionals who need to get things done quickly.

What you'll do

Drive roadmap execution
by collaborating closely with the Head of Product and development team to deliver on strategic initiatives
Create clear product requirements
that outline the "what" to build, translating customer needs into actionable development specifications
Collaborate with UX/UI designer
to create intuitive user experiences that simplify complex workflows for busy trade professionals
Partner with engineering
to refine user stories based on technical feasibility and optimize for both user value and development efficiency
Champion our customers
by developing deep understanding of maintenance and service professionals' needs through regular customer interactions and front office team collaboration
Enable internal teams
by training support and sales teams on new features and improvements, ensuring smooth product launches
Design and run experiments
to test product changes with users, measure results, and iterate based on data to continuously improve the user experience

What we're looking for

Experience working independently in product management at a high-growth company, ideally in SaaS software or a B2C product
Strong ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements
Collaborative and self-driven approach with experience working closely with engineering teams
Customer-centric approach with genuine interest in understanding user needs
Excellent communication skills for training and enablement activities
Adaptability and growth mindset to thrive in a fast-changing startup environment
Familiarity with trade, service, or field service industries is a plus but not required
Someone to come join us in the office for quick collaboration and learning
